After three losses in the European U19 water polo championships being held in Burgas, Bulgaria, Malta finally showed their class with a fine win over Slovenia by 16 goals to 8.
Malta’s goals were scored as follows: Alec Fenech: 5, Luigi Dimech: 4, Luigi Mallia: 2, Jake Cachia, Julian Chircop, Max Zammit, Dean Bugeja, Jayden Cutajar (1 each).
Yesterday, the U19 side lost their final group match against France 15-11.
