A new era for European water polo

This combined event represents a significant step forward in the evolution of European water polo, particularly for the women’s game. For the first time, it will take center stage alongside the men’s top clubs, sharing both the platform and the venue.

Malta has already established itself as a premier destination for major water polo competitions, having hosted the men’s Champions League Final Four over the past two seasons. This June, the stage expands even further, bringing both tournaments together in a single, landmark celebration of the sport.

Four days of top-level competition

The action begins on Wednesday, 10 June, with the women’s semi-finals, followed by the men’s semi-finals on Thursday, 11 June. The women’s medal matches take place on Friday, 12 June, before the event reaches its climax on Saturday, 13 June, with the men’s bronze medal game and the Champions League final.

Whether new winners rise or established powerhouses prevail once again, one thing is clear: Europe’s elite clubs and many of the world’s finest players are set for a gripping showdown in Malta.

The journey to Malta is now entering its decisive final phase.
