The local organisers of the FISEC Games 2025 have requested the Aquatic Sports Association of Malta (ASA) to inform affiliated clubs of the selected athletes who will represent Malta at the upcoming FISEC Games. The competition will take place in Budapest, Hungary from 14th to 20th July 2025, and will be held in a 25-metre pool.
Selection Criteria:
Swimmers were chosen based on:
- Official rankings and AQUA points for athletes born between 2008 and 2010.
- Results considered include times posted between September 2024 and May 2025.
- Rankings were calculated by averaging each swimmer’s best four events, factoring in both SCM and LCM performances.
- Events such as the 800m and 1500m freestyle were excluded, as they are not part of the FISEC programme.
The squad may include up to 10 boys and 10 girls. The lists below are in alphabetical order, followed by reserves ranked in order of potential selection should any athletes decline their place.

Confirmation of Participation:
Club secretaries are requested to notify their swimmers of their selection and confirm participation by contacting Coach Edward Caruana Dingli via email at [email protected] no later than 15th May 2025.
Failure to confirm by the deadline will be considered a forfeiture of the swimmer’s place on the team. Any resulting vacancies will be filled based on the reserve ranking list at the discretion of the coaching team.
Estimated Costs:
Each athlete is expected to contribute approximately €1,000, covering flights, transfers, insurance, competition participation, and team kit.
