Agones SFC has wrapped up a successful “ZeroToHero” Training Camp, held over three days last weekend.
The event brought together club members for an intensive development experience, with the highlight being the involvement of special guest Simone Diamantini, an Olympic triathlon coach whose expertise left a strong impression on everyone who took part.
Sessions across the weekend covered the three core triathlon disciplines, running, cycling, and swimming, with structured training designed to improve performance at every level, regardless of experience.
Diamantini led several key sessions throughout the camp, offering professional insights and hands-on coaching. His approach focused not just on technique, but also on discipline, teamwork, and building confidence in a competitive environment.

Club president Warren Muscat was full of praise for the event, saying it had exceeded expectations and that Diamantini’s involvement had added enormous value. He was particularly pleased to see all participants fully engaged and enjoying themselves throughout.
Those who took part came away with improved skills, greater confidence, and a better understanding of the sport.

Agones SFC says it remains committed to offering high-quality development opportunities and plans to host further camps as part of the ongoing “ZeroToHero” programme.
