ASA and COOP Services sign a successful 3-Year partnership

The Aquatic Sports Association (ASA) recently concluded a highly successful three-year partnership with COOP Services, a leading provider of transport solutions in Malta. This collaboration, which marked a milestone in the development and promotion of swimming in Malta and Gozo, saw COOP Services taking on the role of a title sponsor for some of the nation’s most prestigious aquatic events.

Throughout the partnership, COOP Services demonstrated its unwavering commitment to aquatic sports by serving as the title sponsor of three major swimming competitions. These included the COOP Services National Short Course Championships held in December 2024, the COOP Services Easter International Swimming Meet in April 2025, and the COOP Services National Long Course Championships in June 2025. The sponsorship extended across three seasons, showcasing COOP Services’ long-term dedication to the sport.

The collaboration went beyond financial sponsorship, as both the ASA and COOP Services worked together on community engagement initiatives designed to inspire young people to take up swimming. These initiatives included workshops and clinics aimed at nurturing talent and fostering a deeper connection with the sport.

COOP Services also benefitted from significant brand visibility throughout the partnership. Its presence was prominently featured across ASA platforms, including social media, digital channels, and event signage. This visibility underscored COOP Services’ support for the local community and its belief in the transformative power of sports.

The partnership was guided by the shared vision of elevating the profile of swimming in Malta. Through combined expertise and resources, the ASA and COOP Services organized high-quality events that provided a platform for local athletes to shine and inspired the next generation of swimmers.

Reflecting on the collaboration, both organizations celebrated the lasting impact it had on the aquatic sports landscape in Malta and Gozo. The three-year commitment to swimming, embodied by the slogan “Our Home Is Water,” left a legacy of inspiration, development, and a strengthened connection between the community and the sport.
