Malta’s next generation of traditional rowers will take centre stage on Saturday 11 July, as the Under-18 Regatta is scheduled to begin at 9:00am.
The event will showcase some of the country’s most promising young athletes, who will compete in the historic Grand Harbour – Fort Saint Angelo race while continuing Malta’s long-standing regatta tradition.
Family, friends and rowing enthusiasts are encouraged to attend and support the young competitors as they gain valuable racing experience.
Traditional rowing remains one of Malta’s oldest sporting disciplines, with regattas forming an important part of the country’s sporting and cultural heritage. The Under-18 competition plays a key role in developing future talent and ensuring the sport continues to thrive for generations to come.

The event is expected to attract clubs, families and supporters from across Malta as the spotlight turns to the future stars of traditional Maltese rowing.
