Malta participates in Monaco meetings ahead of GSSE 2027

Monaco has continued preparations for the Games of the Small States of Europe 2027 by hosting the General Assembly and Technical Commission meetings involving representatives from the participating National Olympic Committees.

The meetings brought together delegates from Andorra, Cyprus, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro and San Marino as preparations continue ahead of the multi sport event scheduled for 2027.

Discussions focused on organisational planning, strategic coordination and the validation of key operational steps linked to the staging of the Games. Representatives also visited future competition venues that are expected to host athletes during the event.

Yvette Lambin Berti, Secretary General of the Monégasque Olympic Committee, described the Games as “a sporting family” built around the values of sharing, excellence and cooperation between nations.
