The three teams at the top of the MDA First Division table started the second round in the best possible way with good wins against their respective opponents.
Floriana Ajax A beat Floriana Ajax B 7-1 while Rosso 33 won 5-3 against Hamrun Bayern. Birgu Boċċi Club A responded to the results of their rivals after a score of 5-3 against Sliema Lounge A.
Juventutis Domus were so dominant over Żejtun Laċċi Maypole as they won 7-1.
In the second division, leaders Duke’s Darts Team were held to a 4-4 draw against Cox Bar so that their lead at the top of the table has now dropped to just one point.
The two teams behind them, Żejtun Band Club and Birgu Boċċi B quickly took advantage when they beat PO’s Bar (5-3) and Beland Bull’s Eye (8-0).
Top Gun Marsa got a good win away from home at Żejtun Laċċi Reds.
In the third division, Titans tal-Balklor continued to strengthen their place at the top after another win. They beat Duke’s Darts Team B 7-1 to still enjoy a three point advantage over Munchies who in turn beat Żurrieq FC 7-1.
In other matches, Tal-Ġilju beat MMG Żabbar 6-2 while Nicolo Isouard beat Sliema Lounge B 5-3 away from home.
