Birgu Boċċi Darts Club A registered a very important win on match day 2 of the MDA First Division as they beat the champions Floriana Ajax A 5-3.
It was a very thrilling game with the Cottonera side who were always on top but with the Greens who were able to always stay in the game. It was only in the last two games that the team from Birgu secured the final victory.
There were big wins of 8-0 for Żejtun Rosso 33 and Ħamrun Bayern A who beat Floriana Ajax MCP and Żejtun Laċċi Maypole respectively while Sliema Lounge A got their first points of the season after a score of 6-2 against Juventutis Domus .
In the second division, Birgu Boċċi B saw off Cox Bar 5-3 while Beland Żejtun and Top Gun Marsa achieved identical victories of 5-3 against Żejtun Laċċi Reds and PO’s Bar Gudja respectively .
Duke’s Bar A beat Żejtun Band Club B 6-2.
In the third division, Nicolo Isouard, Titans Tal-Balklor and MMG Darts Club got the same positive score of 5-3 against Duke’s Bar B, Munchies Bar and Żurrieq FC respectively.
Finally, Mqabba tal-Gilju beat Sliema Lounge B 6-2.
