Malta’s women’s cricket team has travelled to Cyprus ahead of a bilateral T20 International series, with the squad receiving the backing of the Malta Cricket Association before departure.
The association wished the team good luck as they prepare to represent Malta on the international stage in a series against Cyprus during 2026.
The participation has been supported through SportMalta’s International Participation Scheme, which helps Maltese athletes and teams compete abroad and gain valuable international experience.
The series offers another important opportunity for Malta’s women’s team to test themselves against international opposition as they continue their development and aim to strengthen their presence in European cricket.
