Jade Bartoli is set to represent Malta at an international youth badminton tournament in Prague, with the competition getting underway tomorrow.
Bartoli will compete in the Under 13 category across singles, doubles and mixed doubles events during a busy schedule in the Czech capital.
Her singles group stage campaign begins on Thursday 28 May. Bartoli will first face Ravza Nur Çoşar at 18:30 before taking on Silvia Růžičková later in the evening at 20:00.
On Friday 29 May, Bartoli will begin her doubles campaign in the Round of 32 alongside partner Katarína Pobehová. The pair are scheduled to face R. Özdemir and Y. Şahbaz at 16:30.
Bartoli will also compete in the mixed doubles competition with Matej Žuti. The pair enter the tournament as the third or fourth seeds and have received a bye into the Round of 64.
The tournament provides another international opportunity for the young Maltese player as she continues gaining experience against overseas opposition at youth level.
