Laura Frendo obtained her driving licence through the Malta Racing Club in 2023. In four years of official competitive racing, she has participated in 110 races and recorded seven victories, together with 30 top four finishes.

The Ladies European Championship is organised annually by FEGAT and is recognised as a platform that promotes female participation in trotting across Europe. The event also provides amateur drivers with the opportunity to gain international racing experience.

The Malta Racing Club thanked EquestriMalta for its continued financial support towards Malta’s participation in international competitions. The club stated that the collaboration between the two organisations continues to provide Maltese drivers with opportunities to compete abroad and gain further experience at European level.
