Wu Yize has beaten Shaun Murphy 18-17 in a thrilling final at the World Snooker Championship in Sheffield.
At just 22 years old, Wu becomes the second-youngest ever winner of the title, after Stephen Hendry. He is also only the second Chinese player to win the championship, following Zhao Xintong.
The final was very close and went all the way to a deciding frame. Both players took turns to lead throughout the match.
Wu started strongly in the final session, but Murphy kept fighting back each time. Both players produced some excellent breaks, but also made a few costly mistakes, keeping the match tight.
A key moment came when Wu took advantage of a mistake from Murphy to win an important frame. Later, Murphy responded well and forced a deciding frame with a strong break.

In the final frame, Murphy had the first chance but missed an early shot. Wu stayed calm, took control of the table, and made an 85 break to win the title.
It was a tense and exciting match, but Wu held his nerve at the end to become world champion.
