Maltese snooker players Aaron Busuttil and Brian Cini have delivered outstanding performances at the World Snooker Federation Championships 2025, currently being held in Morocco. Both cueists topped their respective groups and have successfully secured a place in the knockout stage of the prestigious tournament.
Busuttil and Cini showcased their skill and composure on the table, registering impressive breaks during the group stage:
Aaron Busuttil: 114, 95, 64, 50
Brian Cini: 101, 97, 86, 75, 51
Unfortunately, Joseph Casha and his 13-year-old son Caiden Casha were eliminated from the tournament despite putting up strong performances. Their efforts and determination, however, have made Malta proud, and their participation at such a high level is a remarkable achievement.
As the knockout stage begins, Malta rallies behind Aaron and Brian, hoping they can continue their impressive form and make a deep run in the tournament. Best of luck, Aaron and Brian – the nation is behind you.
