He will now compete in the final on Saturday at 2 p.m. against China’s Yang Gao who defeated Northern Ireland’s Fergal Quinn in the other semi final.

In the morning session, Cini displayed remarkable form, crushing Germany’s Umit Dikme 4-0. The German was given little opportunity to mount a challenge as Cini controlled the match with three impressive breaks of 72, 84, and 74 points. The frame scores were:
