Robles steals the show as Zero Sei edge closer to the title

The first leg of the women’s championship final was a thrilling affair, packed with intensity and end-to-end action throughout.

Zero Sei Futsal, appearing in their third final of the season, got off to a flying start when Robles opened the scoring from a free kick. She quickly added a second to give her side a comfortable two-goal cushion.

Luxol Argus refused to lie down and fought their way back into the match. A stunning long-range free kick from Zarb Cousin gave them hope, and they kept pressing until Grech levelled things up to make it 2-2.

Just as it looked like Luxol might take control, Robles had other ideas. The forward completed her hat-trick shortly after the equaliser, punishing Luxol for perhaps getting a little carried away in their attacking play. From that point, Zero Sei kept their composure and Csik added a fourth to wrap up a convincing win.
