The Malta Futsal National Team, led by new head coach Roberto Menichelli, played an attacking game against Romania but were unable to score, losing 3-0 in Bucharest.
Malta created several chances and hit the post a few times, showing a positive performance despite the defeat.
A bright spot was that five players were under 21, showing the team is bringing through new young talent as part of their youth project.
Malta will play their next international friendly against Latvia on 10th November at 12:00.
