Luxol St Andrew’s achieved a treble of successes in the local futsal scene when they won the E & L Futsal Trophy on Friday evening with a dominant performance over ŻRQ Bormla after a score of 8-0.
Gabriel Dobre’s boys added this cup after winning the Super Cup at the beginning of the season and the Enemed Futsal League.
Luxol showed clear intentions from the start and by the end of the first half they were already 4-0 up. In the second half, they continued to manage the game while scoring four more goals.
Captain Mark Zammit and Andre Ciancio netted a brace each while Andy Mangion, Robert Stoyanov, Luke Gatt and Michael Borg added more goals for their team.
At the end of the match, FMA general secretary Dr. Stefan Cutajar presented the cup to Luxol’s captain Mark Zammit.
