Malta Futsal National Team Head Coach Roberto Menichelli has announced a 16-player squad for the upcoming Futsal Week January Cup, set to take place in Labin, Croatia, between the 19th and 26th January.
The invitational tournament will feature a strong international line-up, with Malta joined by Türkiye, Greenland, San Marino, Morocco, Romania, Scotland and Switzerland, offering the national side valuable competitive exposure against varied playing styles.
Malta will open their campaign on the 22nd January when they face Türkiye, in what promises to be a demanding start against one of the tournament favourites. The competition forms part of Malta’s ongoing development programme under Menichelli, as the team continues to gain experience at an international level.
The squad includes a balanced mix of established players and emerging talent, providing depth across all areas of the court.
