The Qormi FC Nursery hosted its end-of-season awards night for the 2024/25 campaign at a leading hotel in St Julian’s, recognizing players from the Under-4 category up to the Under-21 squad.
Awards were presented for the best goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and forwards, as well as honours for the best overall player, the most dedicated, and the most promising talent.
During the evening – which saw an attendance of around 400 people – Mr Mario Cilia, one of the academy’s key contributors and the club’s kit manager, delivered a speech thanking the parents and children for making this project a successful one. He also praised the administration, particularly chairman Jason Dingli and the rest of the committee, for their impeccable organization and for maintaining this awards night initiative, now in its second year.
The Qormi FC Academy currently has around 260 boys and girls enrolled in its football programmes.
