Two young teams from the International Football Academy Malta had an unforgettable experience after reaching the Copa Crozada finals, held at the Ennio Tardini Stadium – the home ground of Parma Calcio, who play in Italy’s Serie A.
The Maltese sides didn’t just return home with two trophies, but also impressed everyone watching with their effort and style of play.
The team in the Pulcini Misti category (players born in 2014 and 2015) lost only one match and finished second overall. Meanwhile, the team in the Pulcini Primo Anno category (players born in 2015 and 2016) went on to win the tournament.

Both teams performed brilliantly, which was another positive step in the ongoing partnership between Parma Calcio Academy and International Football Academy Malta. IFA has been part of all four editions of Copa Crozada so far.

It was a fantastic journey for the children – helping them grow, build confidence, and enjoy playing football with other kids from Italy and beyond. With the support of their dedicated coaches Nicholas Baldacchino and Leonard (Nardu) Farrugia, they gave their best and made Malta proud.
