Paris Saint-Germain continued their unbeaten run in Ligue 1, defeating Toulouse 3-0 on Friday to cement their place at the top of the standings. Goals from Joao Neves, Lucas Beraldo, and Vitinha secured the victory for the Parisians, who now hold 32 points, six clear of AS Monaco, who earlier beat Brest 3-2.
The breakthrough came in the 35th minute when Neves volleyed a precise pass from Achraf Hakimi into the bottom-left corner. Toulouse goalkeeper Guillaume Restes had just denied league top scorer Bradley Barcola moments earlier, but PSG’s persistence soon paid off. The hosts dominated possession after halftime, with Hakimi coming close to scoring himself, only for his long-range effort to be tipped over the bar by Restes.
Warren Zaire-Emery appeared to double PSG’s lead in the 54th minute, but his goal was disallowed following a lengthy VAR review for offside. Despite some promising opportunities, including a miss from substitute Shavy Babicka, Toulouse struggled to threaten PSG’s well-organized defence.
Beraldo doubled PSG’s advantage in the 84th minute, capitalizing on a rebound near the penalty spot to net his first goal of the season. Vitinha, coming off the bench, completed the scoring in stoppage time by converting a pinpoint cross from Randal Kolo Muani.
This result marked PSG’s fifth consecutive league win and their second straight clean sheet at home, a feat they last achieved a year ago. With Bayern Munich and Juventus, PSG remains one of only three unbeaten teams across Europe’s top five leagues this season.
The Parisians now shift focus to their upcoming Champions League trip to Bayern on Tuesday, while their next Ligue 1 fixture sees them hosting Nantes on November 30. Toulouse, sitting 10th with 15 points, will aim to bounce back when they welcome Auxerre on December 1.
