Davide began his coaching career in 2016 and has spent much of the past decade working alongside his father Carlo Ancelotti. During that period, he held coaching roles at Bayern Munich, Napoli, Everton and Real Madrid, gaining experience at the highest level of club

He is also currently serving as an assistant coach with the Brazil national team, having joined Carlo Ancelotti’s technical staff following the Italian’s appointment as Brazil manager in 2025.
Lille will hope that Davide Ancelotti can continue the club’s recent progress in Ligue 1 and European competitions. Despite his relatively young age, he arrives with extensive experience gained from working alongside one of the most successful managers in football history.
The appointment represents a significant opportunity for Ancelotti to establish himself independently as a head coach and build his own managerial reputation in one of Europe’s top leagues.
