A group of Maltese Karting Drivers were at Autodromo Concordia in Favar Agrigento Sicily last weekend to compete in another round of the Sicilian Karting Championship, Zone 7 of the Italian National Championship.
Kimi Bugeja, a promising Karting Driver, once again showcased his dominance in the GR3 Class for drivers under 10 years. He clinched victory in the qualifications, the pre-final, and the final, reaffirming his position as a force to be reckoned with. In the same class, Yan Camilleri secured the 4th place, Mattias Abela the 8th, Andrei Fenech the 9th, Zara Vella the 11th, Julian Vella the 14th, and Gigi Muscat the 15th.
Claude Brincat finished in the 3rd place amongst the KZN Rookies. Trevor Muscat finished 3rd in the KZN Class. Zane Pace finished 3rd, Dario Mifsud finished 4th in the OKN Junior Class, and Timothy Zarb finished 13th in the OKN class.
