Heath Thorpe is one of the best publicly out gay gymnasts of all time. He is also increasingly popular with the gays. We couldn’t possibly guess why… Oh, right.
Over the weekend, Thorpe gave his gay fans a thirsty post, one of his most skin-heavy yet, sporting nothing but a speedo and a cap on the beach.
“Beach Sundays,” Thorpe wrote, “we are so back.” More beach Sundays please! No one is complaining.
Heath Thorpe is an accomplished gay athlete
Make no mistake, in addition to being the object of affection for countless gay men, he is, as mentioned above, an incredibly accomplished athlete.
He’s won seven medals at the Oceania Championships, including four gold medals. He won the all-around at the 2023 Australia Championships, and he’s won several other gold medals at the national championships as well. Earlier this year he scored a couple top-eight finishes at the World University Games.
What’s next for Heath Thorpe? A surprise to some, he was left off the Australian gymnastics team for the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics after winning said all-around at the national championships. He’ll be 27 when the 2028 Los Angeles Summer Olympics roll around. Can he make a run at a spot in L.A.? We can only image that’s the goal for this gay athlete.
