The Futsal Malta Association successfully organized the Enemed Futsal Awards where several players and officials were rewarded at the end of the 2023/24 season.
Maicon Silva of Luxol was selected as the best Enemed Premier League player while Mark Zammit from the same team was the best Maltese player. At the same time, Guilherme Fonseca de Deus finished as the best scorer of the this competition.
The honour of the best goalkeeper was given to Clint Mifsud of Luxol with Gabriel Dobre being chosen as the best coach.
Collin Sammut from the Maltese under-19 team was the most promising youngster after his last good performances.
In the Enemed Challenger League, Stefi Cale of Ta’ Xbiex Izola Bank was chosen as the best player with Amir Ashtiyani finishing as the top scorer.
Meanwhile, Vanessa Carneiro of Swieqi United Futsal was selected as the best player in the Enemed Women’s League while Lija’s Irena Drugovic ended up as the best scorer of the competition.
Finally the Maltese national futsal team won the President’s Awards after the last positive results they achieved from the Euro Futsal qualifiers.
