During yesterday’s testing, there was a breakdown on the Williams team’s car during the second day of Formula 1 preparations in Bahrain.
The Williams car driven by Nicolas Latifi was caught in the fire, which forced him to leave it quickly.
Everything passed without major consequences, and the team later announced that the cause of the fire was a brake failure.
Alex Albon was optimistic about the car before the fire broke out, after he had the second fastest time right behind Ferrari on Thursday.
On Friday morning, Esteban Okon had the best result on the Sahin track in Alpina, 0.09 seconds ahead of Charles Leclerc, the fastest from the first day.
The third was the current champion, Max Verstappen in Red Bull, and the fourth was Sebastian Vettel in Aston Martin.
