Mercedes driver George Russell finished second after starting on pole position, while McLaren’s Lando Norris came third, giving Britain a strong presence on the podium.
Championship leader Kimi Antonelli was forced to retire late in the race due to an electrical issue while running in second place. The result cut his lead over Hamilton to 41 points.
Max Verstappen finished fourth, ahead of Oscar Piastri in fifth and Isack Hadjar in sixth. Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto completed the points in seventh and eighth, while Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad also scored.
Hamilton said he was proud to achieve the win with Ferrari and thanked the team for their support. He added that he is enjoying racing and believes there is still more work to do this season.
