Charles Leclerc won the British Grand Prix for Ferrari on Sunday after the race finished behind the Safety Car.
The Safety Car came out with four laps left after Max Verstappen crashed. It stayed on track until the end of the race, so the drivers could not race at full speed for the final laps.
George Russell finished second for Mercedes. His result helped him reduce Kimi Antonelli’s lead in the Formula 1 championship to 25 points after nine races.
Lewis Hamilton finished third for Ferrari. However, the stewards are looking into a possible yellow flag offence during the race.
Antonelli started the race from pole position and was running second. He was catching Leclerc with 11 laps to go, but then his car developed a problem. The 19-year-old Italian slowed down and eventually finished 16th, scoring no points.

The result is a big boost for Leclerc and Ferrari, while Russell has closed the gap to Antonelli in the championship.
