Matchday 10 of the YoHealth Malta Premier saw important victories for Sliema Wanderers, Mosta, and Marsaxlokk.
At the Centenary Stadium, Sliema Wanderers came from behind to beat Hibernians 3-2. Mailson Lima had put Hibernians ahead, but goals from Miguel Baggio and a brace by Sulahmana Bah secured the win. Lyon Abela scored late for Hibernians, but it wasn’t enough as Sliema sealed a Top 6 finish.
In the second match at the same venue, Mosta claimed a convincing 3-0 derby victory over Naxxar Lions, moving safely above the relegation zone. Emmanuel Prince Chibuzor scored twice and Simon Zibo added a late goal in the final 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, Marsaxlokk boosted their Top Six hopes with a narrow 1-0 win against Żabbar St Patrick, thanks to a decisive strike from Fred Tsoumou.
