Many clubs have shown official interest in signing him, including Balzan F.C., but it seems that nothing has been finalized yet. During Sunday’s edition of the L-Argument program, Valletta Football Club’s Director of Sports, Nicky Saliba, confirmed that Valletta Football Club has made an official offer, but so far, no agreement has been reached with Balzan.
Valletta’s offer for Jan Busuttil and the one that Balzan is awaiting are close, and it is not unlikely that a deal will be reached in the near future. However, Valletta is not the only team showing strong interest in the player, as the 25-year-old has also attracted attention from at least three other Premier League clubs. Given Balzan’s current position, it appears that they would not be opposed to receiving a reasonable sum that makes sense and allows the player to move on.
Balzan may be unwilling to prolong negotiations further, especially if they know that the player’s contract will expire at the end of the upcoming season.
