Floriana FC announced the signing of Ivorian defender Kouya Mabea as they continue to streghten further the sqaud for the 2025/26 season.
The 26-year-old left-back brings a wealth of international experience to the squad, having played in several European leagues. Mabea began his career in Ivory Coast with SO Armée before moving to Portugal, where he featured for various levels within the Vitória SC setup.
He later continued his development in Belgium with KVC Westerlo, followed by spells in the Israeli Premier League with Hapoel Hadera and Hapoel Rishon LeZion. Most recently, he played in Romania’s top division, Liga I, with UTA Arad.
