Malta Sport can confirm that in the past few hours, Valletta FC captain Brandon Paiber received a tempting offer from a second division club in Japan.
The offer was for a 1-year contract, including a high salary and generous bonuses based on performance and promotion.
However, this portal can confirm that the 30-year-old Malta international midfielder turned down the offer and has chosen to stay with the newly-promoted Valletta side, where he still has three years left on his contract.

This is great news for Valletta’s passionate fans, as Paiber has become one of their favourite players over the years and remains an important part of Thane Micallef’s team.
