Birkirkara FC announced that, by mutual agreement, they terminated the contract of Italian Head Coach Stefano De Angelis.
His contract has been terminated with immediate effect.
The Club thanked De Angelis for his service to the Club. The coach led the team to two finals last season but remained empty handed.
The Club said that it is about to appoint a new Head Coach after finalising the shortlist of candidates. This admission confirms that the Club had been in contact with several coaches over the past days.
In the first two Malta Premier League games the Stripes drew twice against Valletta (0-0) and also against Gzira Utd (0-0).
