Xavi: We didn't deserve to win

Barcelona coach and club legend Xavi Hernandez was not satisfied with the performance of his team in the 0:1 victory over Real Sociedad.

The current champions reached the victory in the last seconds of the match when Araujo shook the net with an assist from captain Ilkaj Gundogan.

“We lost El Clásico, but we played much better. We were terrible against Sociedad and it seems that we were disturbed by that defeat against Real. We didn’t deserve to win, but that’s football.” said Xavi.

Despite this, the Barcelona coach believes that this victory can mean a lot to them in the fight for the title.

“This shows that we have a championship mentality. We got a little back for that defeat in the El Clásico.” Hernandez concluded.
