Barcelona coach, Xavi, announced his departure at the end of the season, but things could change.
Joan Laporta initially accepted this, but later begged him to stay. The coach accepted, but then changed his mind again.
Catalan “Sport” has learned that Xavi could accept the club’s offer and stay for at least one more season.
The coach could stay for at least one more season if the board meets three conditions: first, to continue the battle for defending the La Liga title until the end of the season and to pass PSG in the Champions League quarterfinals, second, to feel a sincere desire from the board to continue the collaboration, and third, for the upcoming transfer window to be successful, but Barcelona still lacks sufficient finances.
Last season, Xavi won La Liga and the Spanish Super Cup.
