Germany, Italy, Poland, Portugal and Denmark/Sweden potential bids for the championship
UEFA today confirmed that it has received declarations of interest to host the 2029 edition of the UEFA Women’s EURO from five potential bidders following the deadline of 24 September, underlining the pan-European growth of women’s football across different regions and the widespread interest in UEFA competitions.

Germany, Italy, Poland and Portugal declared their interest in hosting the 2029 edition of UEFA’s flagship competition, as well as the football associations of Denmark and Sweden, who declared their interest together in a joint bid.
The appointment of host(s) of UEFA Women’s EURO 2029 will be made in December 2025.
