Arsenal Women to play entire 2025/26 WSL Season at Emirates Stadium

Arsenal has announced a major step forward in its commitment to women’s football by confirming that all 11 home matches of the upcoming Women’s Super League (WSL) season will be played at the Emirates Stadium. The move follows a successful year for the women’s team, which was recently crowned UEFA Women’s Champions League winner.

This initiative builds on the growing popularity of Arsenal Women, who played nine matches at the Emirates last season, attracting an average of over 34,000 fans — with a record 56,748 spectators attending the North London derby against Tottenham.

Starting next season, the club will also launch a dedicated full-season ticket for the women’s team at Emirates Stadium, offering supporters a consistent matchday experience at the club’s iconic home and expanding access to the growing fanbase.

Leadership Reaction

Arsenal’s Chief Executive Richard Garlick described the decision as a “bold step forward”:

“This is an opportunity to build a true home for our women’s team and to open the doors wider to our community and a new generation of supporters who want to watch the European champions. It marks the beginning of a new chapter for Arsenal Women, just two weeks after winning the Champions League right here in Islington. We’re committed to continuing this journey together.”

Coach’s Perspective

Head coach Reneé Slegers also celebrated the milestone:

“I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved with our fans this season. Whether at Boreham Wood, the Emirates, or travelling across Europe and to Lisbon, they’ve always been there, pushing us forward. This historic season has laid the foundation for even more. Bringing every WSL match to the Emirates is a significant step that allows even more supporters to be part of this journey. We’ll be back next season with fire in our hearts — more determined, more ambitious, and more united than ever.”

This move underscores Arsenal’s ongoing investment in the women’s game and signals its ambition to further professionalise the sport, grow attendances, and solidify its status as one of the leading women’s clubs in Europe.
