UEFA LAUNCHES OFFICIAL INVESTIGATION: More than 30 clubs under scrutiny for violating fair play

UEFA is investigating the operations of more than 30 European clubs, and many of them have already received letters signed by Aleksander Ceferin, asking for clarification on the budgets they submitted to the European “House of Football”.

The Italian newspaper “Gazzetta Dello Sport” published this information on Monday, adding that their greats: Roma, Inter and Milan, are under investigation for possible violations of financial fair play, ie that a similar letter should soon reach Juventus. for a year in the war with UEFA because of the Super League of the rich.

Inter confirmed that they are under investigation by UEFA and that their business has been investigated in the last few years, adding that they are not worried about that and that they will be happy to meet and help collect additional documentation.

The investigation launched by UEFA is quite wide, but there is no information that all clubs are under investigation. It is only known that there are more than 30 of them.

Previously, UEFA temporarily suspended financial fair play until the clubs stabilize after the budget blows, but an investigation has been launched into whether the clubs violated the rules even after the expiration of the emergency rules.

– UEFA is checking the financial fair play because it is worried about more than 30 clubs and it is their duty to check what impact the pandemic had on the clubs. There will hardly be a sanction, and a new rulebook should be adopted soon – it is stated in the Italian media.

Let us remind you that Juventus, Inter, and Real Madrid were just some of the clubs that participated in the “Super League” project, which would result in the separation of the richest European clubs from UEFA, which has not had good relations with the same clubs since then.
