Athletic Bilbao will be without star brothers Inaki and Nico Williams for the second leg of their Europa League semi-final against Manchester United this Thursday, the club confirmed.
Nico, 22, missed Sunday’s LaLiga match against Real Sociedad and has not been named in the squad for the trip to Old Trafford. His older brother Inaki was taken off in the 62nd minute of that same match, which ended 0-0.
Adding to their troubles, top scorer Oihan Sancet, who has 17 goals this season, has also been left out of the travelling squad. Bilbao already face a tough challenge after losing 3-0 in the first leg at home.
