Valletta FC will face Polish side Raków Częstochowa in the UEFA Conference League qualifying rounds this July following the draw held for the competition.
The first leg is scheduled to be played at the Miejski Stadion Piłkarski Raków in Poland.
For the Citizens, the tie marks a long-awaited return to European football after six years away from continental competition.
Valletta’s previous European appearance came in the 2020/21 season when they were eliminated in the first qualifying round by Welsh side Bala Town.

Now back on the European stage, the capital club will be aiming to make a strong impression despite being handed a difficult challenge against one of Poland’s leading sides.
The clash promises to be one of Valletta’s biggest tests in recent years as they look to restart their European journey and represent Maltese football once again on the continental stage.
