Two 'top notch' entertaining QF's as both games end all square

Second Legs will be played on 17th April

UEFA Champions League – QF Leg 1.

Arsenal 2- 2 Bayern Munich

An absorbing, unpredictable first leg ends with the scoreline level for the return game in eight days’ time. Arsenal had more chances but Bayern could have won it when Coman’s shot struck the woodwork during added time, showing the fine margins which could decide a tie poised tantalisingly for the decider.

Real Madrid 3 – 3 Manchester City

For the second successive season, these sides head to Manchester level after an entertaining contest peppered by stunning strikes. A breathtaking spell by the hosts in the first half put them in command after going behind early on to an audacious piece of quick-thinking by Bernardo Silva, but Guardiola’s men ramped up the pressure after the interval to protect their long unbeaten run in this competition.
