Before the last round of the Bundesliga, in which his team will host Cologne, Bayern Munich coach Tomas Tuchel points out that regardless of the final outcome, his team will not have a successful season.
The players from Munich have two points less than Borussia Dortmund, which is in first place, so apart from the victory in the away game against Cologne, it will also depend on the result of Borussia in the match against Mainz.
“It is our fault, our responsibility. Of course, we will try to stay in the race until the end, as we have an obligation to do our best until the very end,” said Tuchel.
Bayern is on the way to end the streak of ten consecutive titles in the German championship.
“This will not be a season we would be satisfied with. It is not a season in which, according to our requirements, a sufficient number of points were won, in which the quality of the game was satisfactory. Regardless of how it ends, this will not be a satisfying season,” Tcuhel said.
Tuchel succeeded Julian Nagelsman after the defeat to Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga, but this change did not have a positive effect on the Bavarians. They were eliminated from Freiburg in the Cup, while in the Champions League, the Manchester City team was more successful in the quarter-final doubleheader.
“We messed up enough times,” concluded Tuchel.
All matches of the last round of the German Bundesliga are on the program tomorrow from 3:30 p.m.
