THE 'LEWANDOWSKI' CASE BROUGHT TO AN END - the Pole is suspended

Robert Lewandowski will still be suspended for the next three matches in LaLiga, the Sports Court of Spain concluded.

The Polish striker, who wears the Barcelona jersey, received a red card in the match against Osasuna, before the World Cup break.

The initial decision was a three-match suspension, but the Sports Court of Spain would still allow Lewandowski to play in the derby against Espanyol because the proceedings had not yet been completed.

However, today the court rejected BlauGrana’s appeal and Robert will be suspended for the next three matches.

Barcelona will thus have to cross paths with Atletico Madrid, Getafe and Girona without their best player.
