Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag pointed out that he is fascinated by the fact that Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 700 goals in his career.
“He is phenomenal. Soccer is a team game. I think Cristiano knows that we can’t achieve anything without a team, but I have to say that 700 goals is a great individual success,” Ten Hag points out and continues:
“If you achieve that, then it’s incredible. Few players have 700 career matches and he scored 700 goals. So I’m very happy for him and I congratulate him on that.”
The 37-year-old Ronaldo scored five goals for Sporting Lisbon, 450 for Real Madrid, 101 for Juventus and 144 for Manchester United.
