Monza have appointed former Roma and Atalanta coach Ivan Juric as their new head coach ahead of their return to Serie A.
The Croatian will officially take charge on 1 July 2026, with the Biancorossi confirming that he has signed a contract until 2028.

Juric replaces Paolo Bianco, who led Monza back to the Italian top flight through the play-offs but has not been retained by the club.
The appointment marks another attempt by Juric to rebuild his reputation after difficult spells at Roma, Southampton and Atalanta. Reuters reported that Atalanta dismissed him in November 2025 after a poor run, before appointing Raffaele Palladino as his replacement.
His short spell at Roma also ended badly after he replaced Daniele De Rossi in September 2024, following the club’s winless start to that season.
Monza will now hope Juric can bring defensive structure, intensity and Serie A experience to a squad preparing for only its fourth season in Italy’s top division.
