AC Milan are running out of time in the Serie A title race and simply cannot afford to drop points at home against Torino this evening.
The Rossoneri find themselves eight points behind leaders Inter Milan after losing 1-0 at Lazio last weekend, a result that proved costly as Inter dropped points the same day. Napoli are now breathing down Milan’s necks in third, making this a must-win game for Massimiliano Allegri’s side.
The good news for Milan is that they have a remarkable home record against Torino, going unbeaten in this fixture at San Siro since March 1985. They also bounced back from a 1-0 down to win 3-2 in the reverse fixture back in December, showing plenty of character.

Torino arrive in decent enough shape, sitting nine points clear of the relegation zone after a thumping 4-1 win over Parma last Friday. However, they have won back-to-back matches just twice this season and have a poor record away from home against the top four, losing all three such fixtures including a 5-0 thrashing at San Siro against Inter.
Christian Pulisic will be one to watch for Milan, having scored a brace in the reverse fixture. Adrien Rabiot is set to return from suspension, which is a welcome boost. For Torino, Giovanni Simeone could be the dangerman, with six of his seven goals this season coming as the opening goal of the match.
