Goals from Randall Kolo Muani, Kenan Yildiz and Manuel Locatelli proved decisive for the Turin giants, who capped off a rollercoaster 2024/25 campaign with a statement performance. After months of uncertainty and inconsistent form, Juventus turned their season around in the crucial final stretch.
“Qualifying for the Champions League was never going to be easy this year,” said the head coach Igor Tudor after the match. “But credit to the players for showing belief and resilience until the end.”
While Juventus were celebrating, it was a devastating night for two other clubs. Venezia, who needed a result to survive, saw their top-flight journey come to an end in front of their home fans. The loss to Juve confirmed their relegation in dramatic fashion.
Empoli also fell through the trap door after a 2–1 defeat to Verona, capping off a season marked by defensive frailties and missed opportunities.
Elsewhere in the league, the final round was filled with drama. Parma completed a remarkable survival effort with a 3–2 comeback win over Atalanta, while Roma had to content themselves with an Europa League spot despite obtaining 2–0 win over Torino in Claudio Ranieri’s farewell game.
In other results, Parma saw off Atalanta 3-2 away from home while Lazio were surprised by Lecce whose Lassana Coulibaly goal gave them the final three points.
Another 3-2 result was achieved by Fiorentina who had an away win against Udinese.
