Juventus got back to winning ways with a comfortable 2-0 home victory over Genoa, with goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio the standout performer on the night.
The hosts made a blistering start, taking the lead inside four minutes. A half-cleared ball was headed back into the box by Khéphren Thuram, flicked on by Lloyd Kelly, and headed home by Bremer, with a deflection taking it past goalkeeper Justin Bijlow.
Juventus doubled their lead in the 17th minute through a well-worked counter-attack. Weston McKennie played the ball wide to Francisco Conceição, who drew in the defenders before laying it back for the American to fire low into the net.
The hosts should have put the game to bed before half time, but McKennie somehow cleared the crossbar from just two yards out after Yıldız had knocked the ball back across goal.
The second half saw Juventus come close on several occasions, with Jonathan David hitting the upright from the edge of the box, while McKennie also went close again. At the other end, Di Gregorio, who had replaced Mattia Perin at half time, kept Genoa at bay with a string of fine saves.

The moment of the match came with around 20 minutes to go, when Bremer brought down Caricol in the box and VAR awarded a penalty. Di Gregorio guessed correctly to save Caricol’s spot kick, and then brilliantly denied the follow-up volley when the ball was crossed back in. He went on to make another fine save from a late header to secure the clean sheet.
The win leaves Juventus five matches unbeaten in Serie A, while Genoa remain just six points above the relegation zone after back-to-back defeats.
