Juventus F.C. strengthened their push for UEFA Champions League qualification after securing a 1-0 away victory against U.S. Lecce in Serie A.
The decisive moment arrived after just 11 seconds, with Juventus scoring the fastest goal recorded in the league this season.
Straight from kick off, a long ball forward was controlled by Teun Koopmeiners, who combined with Andrea Cambiaso before the latter delivered a cross for Dušan Vlahović to finish from close range.
The goal marked Vlahović’s second in consecutive matches following his recent return from injury.
Lecce responded immediately and almost equalised through Walid Cheddira, but Michele Di Gregorio produced an important save from close range.
Juventus continued to threaten during the opening stages, with Francisco Conceição striking the post before Vlahović forced another save from Wladimiro Falcone.
The pace of the match slowed after the opening exchanges, although both teams continued to create occasional opportunities before half time.

Vlahović thought he had doubled Juventus’ advantage in the second half after converting from a rebound, but the effort was ruled out for offside following a VAR review.
A second Juventus goal was also disallowed shortly before the hour mark when Pierre Kalulu finished from close range, only for another offside decision in the build up to overturn the goal.
Despite missing further opportunities through Kenan Yıldız and Vlahović, Juventus held on to secure an important victory.
The result extends Juventus’ unbeaten run in Serie A to 10 matches and moves the club four points clear of fifth place in the standings.
Lecce, meanwhile, remain four points above the relegation zone after seeing their three match unbeaten run come to an end.
